'Amazon' For Drugs: This Atlantis Commercial Is REAL (VIDEO)

WATCH: This Commercial IsA Parody

You'd think the commercial above is a Funny or Die parody, mocking the quirky typographical advertising we've encountered all too frequently while waiting for videos to load. But it's a very real commercial, for a very real service.

The commercial appeared on YouTube on Wednesday, promoting Atlantis, a black market drug sales site that will assist you in anonymously purchasing drugs online -- that's illegal drugs, not your basic Tylenol.

According to Forbes, the entire business operates on bitcoins, a peer-to-peer electronic cash system.

Atlantis is hardly groundbreaking. A fairly identical system had been employed by Silk Road for about two years. According to a Carnegie Mellon study published last year, Silk Road made $22 million in sales in 2012.
