'New Day' Video Has Alicia Keys Strutting On The Stage And In The Streets

Alicia Keys Dances In The Streets

Alicia Keys has released a new music video for the latest single off of her "Girl on Fire" album, "New Day."

The video (shown above) juxtaposes footage of Keys performing in a crop top to a packed crowd with scenes of the singer breaking it down in a pair of killer leather pants in back alleys, and sweeping views of New York City.

"There's a feeling that I got that I can't give up / Feeling in my heart that I can't get over / I know that it's coming like the sun come up / Tell me do you feel the same, everybody say," Keys sings, before heading into a chorus of "Party people say, party people say / Ay, it's a new day, it's a new day / The world's getting ready, everybody ready, yeah / For a new day, for a new day."

It's been a big year for the 32-year-old Keys. She kicked off 2013 by performing her hit song, "Girl on Fire" at President Obama's Inaugural Ball. The track has been highly successful for Keys, selling more than two million copies. Weeks after her Inauguration performance, Keys sang the National Anthem at the Super Bowl. Lest she have time to relax, Keys also squeezed in a performance at the NBA All-Star Game and a stint as Blackberry's Creative Director.

Released in November, "Girl on Fire" is Keys' fifth studio album. The critically lauded album hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
