New Footage In Japan's 'Star Wars' Trailer Will Make You Freak Out

Kylo Ren meets Rey, and things don't go so well.

Japan is giving us new hope.

We thought the last "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" trailer would be the final one before the movie comes out in December. Oh, how wrong we were.

Japan has its own version of the trailer, and there is an entire galaxy of new footage. Rey (Daisy Ridley) and BB-8 have a convo about "waiting" for her family, the dark side keeps messing everything up and the mysterious Kylo Ren appears to meet Rey, too. Things don't go so well.

Uh, this shiz is big.

Redditors were freaking out over the shot that appears to show an impending TIE fighter attack at sunset and speculate the trailer reveals Leia is actually running the show for the resistance.

The trailer ends with a voiceover saying, "Hope is not lost today. It is found."

We couldn't agree more.

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" hits theaters Dec. 18.
