New iMac, Macbook, Mac Mini On The Horizon?

Rumors are swirling that Apple could be releasing new models of their iMac, Macbook, and Mac mini computers.

AppleInsider has predicted that Apple could be planning to launch "thinner iMacs, redesigned polycarbonate MacBooks with thinner, sleeker enclosures, and speed-bumped Mac minis."

Several ads that appeared on the Netherlands-based Google Ad Sense have given rise to speculation that Apple could be releasing the upgrades soon. Ads have also since cropped up on the Italian Google Web site, and references to a "new white MacBook" can be found on Google's German and Austrian sites. AppleInsider reports:

A trio of online advertisements that appear to have been published prematurely by one of Apple's international online stores suggest it's only a matter of days before the Mac maker takes the wraps off of new families of ultra-thin iMacs, lighter & thinner plastic MacBooks, and more affordable Mac minis.

Fueling rumors that an upgrade is imminent is the news that Apple has informed retailers not to expect inventory refreshes for current lines of iMacs. AppleInsider writes:

Apple this week began informing its direct sales channels that several of its desktop-based Mac offerings have entered a period of constraint, further hinting that Mac hardware updates are on the horizon.
