If you live in New Jersey, here's what you need to know about voting on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012.

The closing time for New Jersey polls is 8 p.m.; Opening time for New Jersey polls is 6 a.m.

Not sure where to vote? The New Jersey Department of State website has a Polling Place Search page that will help you locate your polling place.

Can't get to your polling place at all? Due to the impact of Hurricane Sandy, New Jersey residents will have another option: voting online via e-mail or fax. (See how to vote by email or fax here.)

New Jersey awards 14 electoral votes in the presidential race. The state has voted for the Democratic presidential candidate since 1992.
