Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.) has won his re-election bid.
Booker has been serving in the U.S. Senate since 2013, after winning a special election to succeed Sen. Frank Lautenberg, who died in June of that year. Prior to joining the Senate, Booker served as mayor of Newark, New Jersey.
Booker defeated Republican candidate Jeff Bell.
