New Mexico residents, here's what you need to know about voting on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012.

The closing time for New Mexico polls is 7 p.m. Mountain Time; Opening time for New Mexico polls is 7 a.m. local time.

New Mexico will award five electoral votes in the presidential race. The state voted for Barack Obama in 2008, as well as the Democratic presidential candidate for four of the past five elections.
