New Mexico Senate Primary: Allen Weh Wins GOP Nomination

Former New Mexico Republican party chairman Allen Weh has won the GOP primary in New Mexico's Senate race, the Associated Press reports.

Weh defeated Republican attorney David Clements in Tuesday's primary. He will go on to face Democrat Tom Udall in November's general election.

Udall had no primary challengers.
