'Monsters University' Trailer: Mike And Sulley Head To College (VIDEO)

Mike and Sulley are headed to college in the new "Monsters University" trailer.

Released Monday, the trailer shows Mike arriving at Monsters U and immersing himself in the college life -- attending the activities fair, getting the keys to his new dorm room, and finally, meeting his roommate: Sulley. Both monsters are scaring majors, a fact that leads to quick competition between the two -- take a look in the video above.

Billy Crystal and John Goodman are back as the voices of, respectively, Mike and Sulley. Crystal recently said of Mike, "He's my favorite character I’ve ever played.”

The original "Monsters" film, "Monsters, Inc.," was released in 2001 and was a huge hit, reaching a worldwide gross of more than $561 million. The new film is set years before "Monsters, Inc.," giving fans the backstory of how Mike and Sulley met and started work as scarers.

Due out from Pixar, "Monsters University" hits theaters on June 21.
