It'll be a '90s rock band flashback at this year's Voodoo Fest, as Pearl Jam and Nine Inch Nails have been announced as the top headliners for New Orleans' annual music extravaganza.

Monday's announcement marked the first round of performers to join the festival's billing. Also among the 15 acts currently slated to appear at Voodoo are Paramore, Calvin Harris, Cults, Bassnectar, The Gaslight Anthem, and Macklemore and Ryan Lewis.

This year's event will see Pearl Jam's first stint at the festival, while Nine Inch Nails are familiar faces, having headlined in 2005, after Hurricane Katrina, and again in 2008.

Last year's headliners included Metallica, Jack White, Neil Young & Crazy Horse, Skrillex and The Avett Brothers.

The Voodoo Music Experience, which boasts the slogan "Worship the Music," will take place Nov. 1-3 at New Orleans' City Park. For more information, visit the Voodoo website.
