New Year's Day Bowl Games 2014 Schedule: Times, Teams And Everything You Need To Know

New Year's Day Bowl Schedule

It's New Year's Day. That means at least two things for many college football fans: It's time to grab the recommended dose of Tylenol and settle in for a full day of college football bowl games.

The six-game schedule for the first day of 2014 kicks off with a pair of noon starts on the East Coast and then wraps up with the Fiesta Bowl in the evening. Along the way the 100th edition of the Rose Bowl will take place, Javedeon Clowney might take off someone's head and Les Miles will likely do or say something unexpected.

"I would say this is the biggest game in our program's history," Michigan State safety Kurtis Drummond said ahead of the Rose Bowl, via The Associated Press. "Definitely the biggest game in our lives. For us to go down in history as potentially one of the best teams, it's definitely a challenge that we're all ready to take on."
