Rooftop Films kicks off their summer bill this weekend with a lineup of underground films including "Think of Me," "#Occupy Bat Signal For The 99%," and many more. The original film festival, now in its 16th year, aims to bring together both emerging and established filmmakers to showcase their work throughout over 45 outdoor venues in the city.

Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations

Check out the highly-anticipated Met exhibition exploring the fashion influences of Italian designers Elsa Schiaprelli and Miuccia Prada, which opened to the public on Thursday and features stunning "conversations" orchestrated by director Baz Luhrmann. Fashion's elite and celebrities including Emma Stone, Kate Upton, and a scantily clad Beyonce in Givenchy turned up for exhibition's 2012 Met Gala earlier this week.

One of the city's most treasured green spaces is opening their gardens to celebrate Mother's Day with two days of picnicking, badminton, food sampling, and much more for families and their mothers to come out and enjoy.

Over 5,000 people including notable food activists and local farmers will gather on Saturday for this free, community oriented conference to discuss the importance of healthy food choices and fair food systems.
