Giant Chinese supermarket K&K Super Buffet will transform into a warehouse-like music venue on Saturday and play host to bands Real Estate and Black Dice for what will be an unprecedented show on an awesomely unique stage. Tickets are just five bucks, so be sure to make it out to Ridgewood!

Chinatown New Year Parade

Didn't get a chance to celebrate Chinese New Year earlier this week? The Year of the Dragon festivities continue on Sunday for the 13th annual Lunar New Year Parade, so come on out for the party or risk a whole year of bad luck.

Phillip Glass's 75th Birthday Celebration

Music fans and high-brow culture unite to celebrate the 75th birthday of Phillip Glass, one of the most creative composers in contemporary music. Special guests will be present for the party, including cousin and This American Life host Ira Glass. Tickets will be distributed through the venue's Twitter and Facebook accounts, so pay attention for your chance to win.

Huckleberry Bar's Chili Cook Off

The creative folks over at Claque are returning to one of Williamsburg's favorite cocktail havens, Huckleberry Bar, for a Sunday evening chili cook off. Proceeds from the event will help the group raise funds to continue producing shows and live performances.

9 Scripts From a Nation at War

This 10-channel video installation brings together five artists collaborating for the first time to "cast inquiry into the position of the individual amidst roles constructed" by the Iraq War. The large-scale installation is part of the museum's ongoing Performance Program which started in 2009.

The See It Big! series continues as Woody Allen fans and film buffs gather at the Museum of the Moving Image for a special screening of Manhattan this weekend. While there, check out some of the museum's great exhibits currently running, including Jim Henson's Fantastic World.
