Harry Styles may no longer be the only member of One Direction with a reputation for attracting older ladies. In one of the most epic moments of the evening at Thursday's 2012 MTV Video Music Awards, Niall and Katy Perry kissed on stage -- and we have the evidence.

Katy, who turns 28 next month, presented the Best Pop Video award to One Direction for "What Makes You Beautiful." As she greeted each boy on stage, she gave them a polite peck on the cheek. When it was Niall's turn, the always-bold performer did what millions of girls across the world would give their right arm to do: She kissed him on the lips.
Niall was quick to tweet a photo of the on-stage smooch to Perry, along with "looks like its official… me and you." Katy then retweeted him and flirted back.
But even before the kiss, Katy wasn't shy about expressing her love for 1D. Just prior to the show, she tweeted, "IF ONE DIRECTION DOESN'T PERFORM ON THE VMA'S I AM GONNA JUMP OFF THIS LEDGE."
Kiss aside, One Direction swept the VMAs, winning all three awards for which they were nominated: Best Pop Video, Most Shareable Video, and Best New Artist. Katy Perry, meanwhile, took home an award for Best Art Direction.
