Gracepoint has a new resident!

Actor Nick Nolte has joined "Gracepoint," the American adaptation of the BBC America series "Broadchurch," which is due to air next year.

TV Line reports that Nolte will play "Jack Reinhold, a stubborn, unmarried, willful man who has lived in Gracepoint for 20 years. He runs the kayak rental on the beach as well as the local wildlife observation program, where the murdered boy was one of his volunteers."

Nolte joins an already impressive cast for the remake, which includes David Tennant (who starred in the original), Anna Gunn from "Breaking Bad" and Oscar nominated actress Jacki Weaver.

"Gracepoint" begins filming in Vancouver in January and is slated to air fall 2014.
