Troubled actor Nick Stahl was taken to a Los Angeles hospital Tuesday morning and placed on an involuntary "5150 psychiatric" hold, according to TMZ. The website reports that the "Terminator 3" star -- who has battled drug addiction in the past -- was brought into the facility by a friend at 3:30 a.m. No more details were disclosed.

Stahl, 33, starred in the blockbuster hit with Arnold Schwarzenegger in 2003. In June 2012, the actor caused alarm when he was reported missing by his wife after checking out of rehab early. The actor had previously told friends he was committed to getting treatment one month prior, it was reported, after he was spotted in LA's Skid Row district.
