Nicole Richie Launches QVC Clothing Line And Reality Show

Nicole Richie Expands Her Fashion Empire To QVC

Fresh off of being named "Influencer of the Year" at the Accessories Council Excellence Awards last week, reality star Nicole Richie has inked a fashion collection deal with QVC.

Designing is nothing new for Richie who already has with two highly successful collections--House Of Harlow 1960 and Winter Kate. Both contemporary lines reflect the boho chic style that Richie is known and loved for. There are no details on what exactly we can expect from her QVC collection. However, if her other lines are any indication you can anticipate chic oversized sunglasses, gorgeous maxi dresses and super cute hippie-inspired blouses.

And thankfully the collection will reflect "real women" figures, with sizes ranging from extra small to extra extra extra large.

"With everything I do, I want to make sure that I take the time and make each category the best that it can be," Richie told Women’s Wear Daily. “I tend to move very slowly and I do that on purpose so that I can make sure that everything that I design really is the best version of what it is.”

The collection launches in February along with her new reality show on NBC called "Fashion Star." The show is a fashion design competition a la Lifetime's "Project Runway" where Richie will serve as a judge.

Here's a look at other celebrities that have used their star power to create fashion collections for the masses.
