Nina Dobrev joined in on the Ice Bucket Challenge this weekend with a little twist of her own.
The 25-year-old, who rose to fame on the CW show "The Vampire Diaries," shared two Instagram videos featuring her take on the viral phenomenon raising money and awareness for ALS. In the first, she begins in typical fashion, nominating other stars Julianne Hough and hairstylist Riawna Capri to take on the challenge. Then, in the second, she strips down to a bikini, receives a bucket of ice water to the head, and promptly jumps off the side of a boat, plunging into the ocean below.
"Challenge accepted. If you're gonna go in , you gotta go ALLLLLLL in. #ALS," the actress wrote.
Dobrev was not alone in completing her mission this weekend: other celebrities like Jennifer Lopez and Iggy Azalea also shared videos of themselves getting doused in freezing water.
Capri already accepted Dobrev's challenge, using a natural resource to conserve California's water. Is Julianne Hough next? If so, we can't wait to see what method she comes up with to match her peers' creativity.
