Noah Cyrus Sounds Just Like Miley On Debut Single

Will this Cyrus be tamed?

The Cyrus family just can’t stop making music.

Between Billy Ray, Miley, and Trace, it was only a matter of time until daughter and sister Noah took the stage.

The 16-year-old’s first single, “Make Me (Cry),” featuring R&B singer-songwriter Labrinth, dropped on Tuesday. Like her sister before her, Noah’s rasp adds an element to the emotional breakup song that will (as promised) make you tear up.

“Gave you up ‘bout 21 times / Felt those lips tell me 21 lies,” she sings. “You’ll be the death of me, sage advice / Loving you could make Jesus cry.”

The haunting refrain ― “I never needed you like I do right now / I never hated you like I do right now” — sounds just like Miley during her “The Climb” days.

Noah dabbled with music back in 2009 on the soundtrack for the children’s movie, Ponyo, but this single is her first official release.

We’re amped to hear more.
