Oh, boy. We were barely holding it together this week after Lin-Manuel Miranda, Leslie Odom Jr. and Phillipa Soo bid farewell to Broadway hit “Hamilton” over the weekend. At least, “Hamilton” superfans thought everywhere, we still have Daveed Diggs, aka Marquis de Lafayette and Thomas Jefferson, to ease the pain with his sweet, sweet voice.

Well, bad news. We’re sad to say that according to Theater Mania, Diggs, who took home the 2016 Tony for Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Musical, is leaving the show as well. His final performance will be Friday, July 15, 2016, giving us hardly any time to deal.

While Diggs’ parts are being recast, the roles of Lafayette and Jefferson will be played by longtime understudies Andrew Chappelle, Austin Smith and Seth Stewart.

So long, Daveed. You’ll be missed. Please don’t pull a Miranda and cut off those beautiful, curly locks!
