Where was Norman Reedus' trusty crossbow when he needed it?

"The Walking Dead" star appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" Tuesday and talked about a weird fan encounter he had in December. The actor got bitten (yes, you read that right) by an overly excited fan at the Walker Stalker convention.

"We took a picture. She came out and she goes 'Sometimes I like to pretend that we're married,'" Reedus said as the audience laughed. "And to tell you the truth I was so tired at that point I didn't even really register that she said that. And we took this picture and then she sort of morphed into a werewolf."

Reedus said things only got more awkward from there, adding, "She kinda started to shake and then went up like this and howled and then she came down and bit me on the breast ... chest."

Listen to the actor tell the rest of the story below:

According to Perez Hilton, the superfan's name was Robin Grover. After she bit the actor (and was promptly escorted out by security) she apparently posted a picture of her encounter with Reedus and described her experience going in for the kill.

"Finally got to meet the love of my life, and get banned from the rest of the CON and lose two more $100 photo ops with him because I lost my mind," Grover said, via Hilton. "I got so excited standing beside him... & just turned my head and bit him! I don't know what came over me. It wasn't my intention to hurt him. I'm sorry Norman."

After the incident happened, Reedus decided not to press charges. He did, however, post an Instagram telling fans not to bite him. Manners, y'all.

Um please don't 💃🏿
