Every Thursday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Eastern time, New York's North Shore Animal League broadcasts a live puppy (and kitten) cam on its UStream feed.
For a delightful three hours each week, puppy lovers across the world can watch the little dogs rolling and playing in their enclosure.

North Shore Animal League America's Joanne Yohannan said in a statement when the cam launched in 2011, “An estimated 8-10 million animals enter shelters each year and, tragically, more than half of those animals are euthanized because they are the victims of overpopulated shelters."
If you're looking for a companion of your own and are ready for the responsibility, take a look at the ASPCA adoption site or Petfinder.com.
