Everyone's favorite news anchor and resident trivia host Pat Kiernan is set to be back on "Live! With Kelly" with not just one, but two more rounds of adorable co-hosting duties.
Kiernan announced the good news on his Pat's Papers site:
April 30, 2012 – NY1 anchor PAT KIERNAN co-hosts with Kelly today. Kelly and Pat sit down with Donald Trump to discuss the newest season of “Celebrity Apprentice,” and the latest eliminated contestant from “American Idol” performs.
May 1, 2012 – PAT KIERNAN is back as Kelly’s co-host this morning. “Hawaii Five-O” star Daniel Dae Kim chats with the hosts, and iconic DJ Samantha Ronson steps out from behind the turntables to perform her original song, “Summer of Sam.”
Kiernan had his dreams of national television glory come true back in March, when host Kelly Ripa invited the NY1 anchor to come onto the show.
As The Observer notes, Kiernan's loyal legion of fans have been rooting for the Canadian-born anchor to co-host for quite some time now, even launching a Facebook campaign to rally for the honorable seat.
In January, Kiernan starred in his own "Sh*t _____ Says" meme, chronicling his favorite Kiernan-isms and NY1 outtakes.
