When you spend your drive to work and school listening to the same album every day, you only hope to one day see it performed live. Last week, I had the chance to finally go see my favorite country trio, Lady Antebellum. For months, I had been counting down the days to finally see Charles Kelley, Hillary Scott and Dave Haywood perform. When the day finally arrived, I could not control my excitement. I was finally going to join other Lady A-ers and own the night at Radio City Music Hall in NYC! Lady Antebellum sold out both of their shows last week in the Big Apple and left the crowd astounded. They opened the show with their hit song "We Owned the Night," and from that moment on, it was bound to be an amazing show. Sponsored by GAC, on the road with Lady Antebellum for their first headlining tour (Own the Night 2012 World Tour) are country music super stars Darius Rucker and Thompson Square.

Lady Antebellum is nominated for three CMT Awards this year, including Music Video of the Year, Group Video of the Year and CMT Performance of the Year. The married duo, Thompson Square, is also nominated for two CMT Awards this year for USA Weekend Breakthrough Video of the Year and Duo Video of the Year for their amazing hits "I Got You" and "Glass." Their energetic stage presence warmed up the crowd in New York City for the former frontman of Hootie and the Blowfish, Darius Rucker. His music brought everyone up and out of their seats. Personally, I was most excited to finally hear and see him perform "Only Wanna Be With You." Lady Antebellum definitely picked the right artists to join them on tour. It is such an amazing feeling to finally see a group you love so much and whose music you listen to every day. My first Lady Antebellum concert was amazing and I can't wait to see them again in June at the 2012 CMA Fest. If you love country music, you won't want to miss this amazing tour!
