In case you didn't know, one of the highlights for underwear throughout the year just so happens to fall on it's last day. New Year's Eve can mean many things across the globe, from parties to resolutions and spending time with friends and family. And in many countries, choosing your underwear color can be just as important as watching the ball drop at midnight in in the United States.

For instance, if you're feeling a bit down in the dumps, wearing green underwear in Peru will bring you some positive vibes-- and if you're looking to keep your friendships going strong in the new year, hop into some pink undies too.
