Obama Campaign: Mitt Romney Is An 'Outsourcing Pioneer'

President Barack Obama's reelection campaign issued a three-page memo Wednesday titled "Mitt Romney: Outsourcing Pioneer." It continues a line of attacks based off a Washington Post report detailing how Bain Capital investments may have helped send American jobs overseas.

The Romney campaign has repeatedly disputed the contents of the article, arguing that it does not differentiate between outsourcing and offshoring. Campaign representatives met with the Post's executive editor Marcus Brauchli on Wednesday to discuss their concerns, but the Post did not issue a retraction of the article.

"We are very confident in our reporting," Washington Post spokesperson Kris Coratti told Politico after the meeting.

The Romney campaign posted what it calls the "real facts" of the outsourcing story to its website.
