Commuting Angelenos could be in for a Presidential double-whammy with the arrival of both President Barack Obama and former President Bill Clinton on Friday.

Obama's in town for a Democratic Party fundraiser, and we've got to hand it to him -- his super-short visit manages to avoid both the morning and evening traffic rush. Here's what you need to know:

10:35 a.m.: Air Force One arrives at LAX
12 p.m.: The President delivers remarks at Peter and Megan Chernin's home in Santa Monica (the couple are entertainment industry power players and staunch Democratic supporters)
2:05 p.m.: Air Force One departs from LAX for Palm Springs.

As always, the President's exact route will not be disclosed to protect his safety. But the Los Angeles Police Department, in conjunction with the Secret Service, released this set of areas to avoid.

  • The area around Centinela Avenue and West Olympic Boulevard from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and between the hours of 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • The area around West Olympic Boulevard and Cloverfield Boulevard from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and between the hours of 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • The area around 26th Street and San Vicente from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and between the hours of 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Tickets for the fundraising event at noon cost $10,000 per person, and surprise! Seats are still available.

But if Angelenos aren't picky about which U.S. president they party with, there's a more economical choice in downtown LA later that day.

Former President Bill Clinton will be in attendance at the free Celebrate LA! sendoff for Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa. Special guests include Ryan Seacrest and Wanda Sykes, and there will be free nachos for "early birds," courtesy of Hungry Hog. Here's a schedule of events:

5 p.m.: Celebrate LA! kicks off at the steps of City Hall at Grand Park with performances by the Silverlake Conservatory of Music
5:45 p.m.: A performance by United American Indian Involvement Pow Wow Dancers and Drummers
6 p.m.: Remarks by President Bill Clinton, Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, Mayor-Elect Eric Garcetti and Placido Domingo, to name a few
7-9 p.m.: Various musical performances
10 p.m.: Event ends

Because of the block party set-up, a few downtown LA streets will be closed until Saturday morning.

  • Spring Street will be closed from 1st Street to Temple from 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 6 to 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 8.
  • The North curbside lane on 1st St. from Main St. to Broadway will be closed from 10:00 a.m. to Midnight on Friday, June 7.
  • Broadway from 1st St. to Temple St. will be closed from 7:00 p.m. to Midnight on Friday, June 7.
