Obama Will Hold Fundraiser At Red Rooster Restaurant

Harlem Restaurant To Get The Obama Boost

President Obama is heading to Harlem to raise money for the Democratic National Committee.

According to two invitations obtained by POLITICO, Obama will hold a small, six-table, high-dollar fundraiser at the Red Rooster Restaurant on Lenox Avenue. The restaurant is the brainchild of chef Marcus Samuelsson, who prepared the first White House state dinner in 2009.

The donation for the dinner is $30,800 a head, with funds going to the Democratic National Committee.

The Obama's are no stranger to fine New York dining.

Back in September, 2009, Obama and former President Bill Clinton lunched at Il Mulino, after Obama gave gave his speech marking the one year anniversary of the collapse of Lehman Brothers.

The President and wife Michelle Obama dined at Blue Hill during their press-flooded date night in June, 2009.
