Obamas' Martha's Vineyard Vacation Day 3: Golf With White House Chef Sam Kass, Obamamania Sweeps The Island (PHOTOS)

UPDATE: On Tuesday night, the Obamas stepped out for dinner at the Sweet Life Cafe in Oak Bluffs on Tuesday night. Senior adviser Valerie Jarrett, Eric Whitaker, the president's half-sister Maya Soetoro-Ng, and her husband, Konrad Ng, were with them. Updated photos below.

The Washington Post referred The Sweet Life as "a fancy little restaurant":

The Obamas finally arrived in time for 7:30 p.m. reservations at the restaurant. Earlier, he had spent about 90 minutes at the home of his friend and adviser, Valerie Jarrett.

On their last trip to the Vineyard, the Obamas dined at the same restaurant, which apparently is a favorite of Chelsea Clinton, reports the Telegraph.

According to the website, appetizers are $12-$16. Entrees are $32-$42,

The Sweet Life Café, one of Martha's Vineyard's fine-dining restaurants, features contemporary French-American cuisine with an accent on local catches and produce. Executive Chef Scott Ehrlich masterfully combines flavors and textures that subtlety surprise and please, without overpowering the senses.

Not surprisingly, French owner Pierre Guérin has created a wine list that includes a great selection of Bordeaux wines, but an equally wide range of New World wines is available as well for even the most discerning wine enthusiast to discover.

Dinner is served in one of the intimate dining rooms of the restored Victorian home or in the romantic garden under the twinkling lights. Working closely with her knowledgeable staff, co-owner Susan Guérin has orchestrated all of the elements to create a memorable evening.

***It's day three of the first family's Martha's Vineyard retreat, and President Obama juggled business and pleasure. In the morning he reappointed the almost identically-attired Ben Bernanke chairman of the Federal Reserve. In the afternoon, he hit the golf course with White House trip director Marvin Nicholson and White House assistant chef Sam Kass. Photos and video below.

Meanwhile, Obamamania has swept the island. The family has not been photographed in public yet, but their presence is felt everywhere, from Obamarita margaritas to Baracko Tacos.
