Occupy Los Angeles Photos

On October 6, 2011 the LA contingent of Occupy Wall Street -- Occupy Los Angeles -- led an estimated 500 protesters to the financial district of downtown LA with a message for big banks and Corporate America.

Ten protesters were arrested inside Bank of America after they attempted to cash an oversized check made out to The People of California for $673B -- compensation for the damage done to the California economy and California residents by Wall Street greed and irresponsibility.

The message of Occupy Los Angeles echoes the sentiments of similar protests taking place throughout the U.S. -- corporate greed has long been out of control, but recent events have had catastrophic effects on vast numbers of Americans and they are fucking pissed.

The infamous Los Angeles Riot Police were prepared for trouble, but this protest for financial and corporate reform was well organized and peaceful.
