#OccupyWallStreet: An Eclectic Group At Wednesday's Massive Manhattan March (VIDEO)

WATCH: Talking To #OccupyWallStreet Protesters

The #OccupyWallStreet protest swelled to its largest size Wednesday in lower Manhattan.

Young and old, labor unions and advocacy groups, and those who simply are fed up with corporations and a weak economy gathered for a march South past City Hall back to Zucotti Park, which protesters have occupied since September 17th.

It was a peaceful, vibrant protest of five to fifteen thousand people and there was little conflict with the NYPD until, after the sun went down, a group of protesters attempted to storm the barricades blocking Wall Street.

Police responded by swinging batons and pepper-spraying at the crowd. Around 20 demonstrators were arrested.

The Huffington Post's Hunter Stuart went downtown and talked to an eclectic group of protesters before the violence broke out.
