Odd-Looking Man Plays Slots, Robs Dostal Alley Casino In Central City, Colorado (VIDEO)

‘Bigfoot’ Robs A Central City Casino?

An unidentified white male, described as rotund and approximately 300 pounds, entered the Dostal Alley casino in Central City, Colorado around midnight on Thursday. After a few minutes of playing slots, the robber donned a heavy, dark wig and fake beard and robbed the cashier’s cage at gunpoint, Central City’s website reports.

The Denver Post reports that the armed robber got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured.

Prior to wearing his wig and beard disguise, the stocky armed robber, who was described by witnesses as having a “rolling gait” when he walked, was last seen wearing a green hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and white baseball cap.

Steve Boulter, Dostal Alley casino manager spoke to 9News about the incident:

[A] very unsophisticated individual thought that he could come in and rob us. We have very good surveillance. Every casino in town has good surveillance. We have cameras all over town. We have some very, very good pictures of him that we turned over to the Central City Police Department.

Central City police are asking anyone with information about the robbery to contact investigators at 303-582-5519 or 303-482-5500.
