Police Officer And Toddler Take Cutest #Twinning Photo

All together now: "AWWW!"

This police officer really made one little boy's day.

Officer Miguel "Mike" Gradilla of the Westminster Police Department in California recently paid a visit to 3-year-old Minh Tatun Khang, who is a big fan of law enforcement.

Their meeting was captured in a precious photo of Gradilla in his uniform with Minh wearing a matching one. Unsurprisingly, the pair's picture went viral on Facebook with people charmed by both the adorable toddler as well as the law enforcement officer.

According to the police department's Facebook page, Minh's uncle called the station and told the department about the boy's fascination with cops. So Gradilla stopped by to hang out with Minh, and the boy got to take picture on top of a police car.

Gradilla definitely went above and beyond the call of duty, but being thoughtful is in character for the officer. According to the Orange County Register, he mentors a high school football and track team, and is a basketball coach at the local Boys and Girls Club among other charitable activities.

“Mike is a giver,” Sgt. Eddie Esqueda told the Register. “He’d give you the shirt off his back and quietly helps the homeless. This is not a publicity stunt. Mike’s the real deal.”

But even with all the attention Gradilla has been getting for his thoughtful act, the officer still maintains that he's the one who was honored by the encounter.

“I drove away from there, and I was all smiles the rest of the day," Gradilla said, according to CBS Los Angeles.
