OK Go, Alec Baldwin Defend Clean Air Act With Other Celebrities In Repower America's New Video

Repower America has gained the support of many famous faces in this new video for their campaign to defend the Clean Air Act.

The video alleges that big polluters are spending over $1.5 million everyday to spread lies about the Clean Air Act. Celebrities like Alec Baldwin, Kris Kristofferson and Margaret Cho join members of bands like Blues Traveler, OK Go and The Flaming Lips to implore that we stand up for our right to breathe clean air, as it collectively belongs to all of us.

The Clean Air Act has accomplished some momentous things since it was passed 40 years ago. According to Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency Lisa P. Jackson, 200,000 premature deaths, 672,000 cases of bronchitis, 21,000 cases of heart disease, 843,000 asthma attacks and 18 million child respiratory illnesses were all prevented thanks to the act--and that was only in the first two decades.
