Old Country Buffet Customer Arrested After Allegedly Drinking His Own Urine

Diners at an Old Country Buffet restaurant in Washington state recently called police to report a 26-year-old man, who allegedly used his own urine to wash down his meal.

According to police, a man identified as Ryan Bravo entered the Kennewick restaurant with an unidentified woman around 6 p.m. Saturday. Kennewick is a city in the southeastern part of the state.

The woman left after buying a meal for Bravo. That's when, police say, things took a bizarre turn.

"Bravo stood up, urinated into a plastic cup and then drank the contents while standing at this table in the dining room," Kennewick Police Sgt. Ken Lattin said in a press release about the incident.

Several people in the restaurant complained about Bravo's alleged behavior and he was asked to leave. Police arrived on the scene shortly thereafter and took the man into custody as he was walking away from the restaurant.

Despite the incident, not all of the diners at Old Country Buffet lost their appetite.

"That didn't stop us from coming to eat. We're just hungry," customer Antonio Ramos told local CBS affiliate KEPR-TV. "

"He can do whatever he wants as long as he doesn't pee in the food," added customer Jorge Medina.

Bravo, who police say is homeless, was charged with public urination. He has also been banned from setting foot on the property for five years.
