The 2012 London Olympics are upon us, and when it comes to choosing the ideal outfit for the opening ceremony of the Olympics, the rule of thumb tends to be the flashier the better.
How else would the athletes and performers possibly capture the attention of the masses without dousing themselves in neon color or setting themselves on fire (metaphorically? Literally?)
