US Soccer Teammates Omar Gonzalez And Clint Dempsey Trade Shoves During MLS Match

No Love Between USA Teammates?

Omar Gonzalez, DeAndre Yedlin, and Clint Dempsey might have been brothers in Brazil, but it seems like the good vibes from their World Cup stint have dissipated.

The U.S. Soccer teammates got into a bit of extracurricular sparring during Monday night's MLS matchup between the Los Angeles Galaxy and Seattle Sounders. Gonzalez, a defender for the Galaxy, appeared to be the instigator in this kerfuffle, knocking Yedlin to the turf away from the ball. He then proceeded to shove Dempsey when the Sounders' captain came to his teammate's defense. Both teams then began jawing in larger numbers before the officials were finally able to restore order.

Though the big dust-up came during the 46th minute, the trash-talking between Gonzalez and the Sounders' duo reportedly continued throughout the match, according to NBC Sports. However, each of the three stars declined to comment on the incident postgame.
