'One Life To Live' A Go: 'All My Children' Out

Classic Soap Opera Officially Ending For Now

A groundbreaking show that began over 40 years ago, "All My Children" is officially ending.

The classic ABC soap opera, canceled in April by ABC, was set to move from its broadcast home to internet exhibitor The Online Network alongside "One Life To Live," but ABC Soaps In Depth reports that parent company Prospect Park has decided it only needs one soap opera at this time. And because "One Life To Live" is ahead in preparations, that show is the one getting the green light.

As such, the last episodes of "All My Children," have already run.

CORRECTION: An earlier version of this article wrote that "One Life To Live" would be ending. It has been corrected.
