In A World Filled With Darkness, How Do You Find The Light?
In the summer of 2016 a business reality show The Uber Experiment introduced you to mental health activist, motivational speaker and writer Joshua Busuttil (Founder of JoshBus).
Joshua battled years of depression from his experiences with bullying, death of two friends and years of self destructive behavior spawning from his diagnosis of Tourette Syndrome and OCD (Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder).
For eight years Joshua struggled to bounce back from depression and claim back not only his life, but lives of those with similar afflictions. Joshua has come full circle and overcame odds to become a successful motivational speaker, spoken word poet and a health & fitness advocate.
The Book
Joshua teamed up with Mad Artist Publishing to publish his first book, REFLECTIVE DESTRUCTION: Overcoming Bullying, Death and Self-Destruction after learning of the company on the business reality show The Uber Experiment earlier this year.
The book is a collection of Josh’s poems he wrote during the years he fought out of his depression. Under direction of Editor-In-Chief & Brand Marketing Strategist Marcin Migdal, Josh’s book will be in the hands of many and hopefully inspire them to lead fruitful lives and believe in themselves.

What Is The Motive Behind This Book?
Joshua’s motive is to bring about empowerment to those with little hope and a silenced voice. His message resonates with many but is difficult to follow when everything seems lost.
“Never give up!. there is strength within us all, we just need one person to bring it out’’ ~ Joshua Busuttil
In 2011 Joshua found a poem regarding overcoming OCD. The poem comforted Joshua and he understood he wasn’t in this fight alone. The resonance was so powerful it made him reevaluate his coping mechanisms.
Joshua is now a Motivational Speaker, sharing his story with organizations and companies that include The United Way, Lowes, Suncor Energy, Telus, ADP Solutions and many more. Many express their gratitude for having Joshua share his story and uplift them with the hope for a better tomorrow. In addition to his speaking engagements, Joshua manages website called JoshBus.com that features videos surrounding advocacy for mental health, art and fitness.
