As the boom of a crane hangs precariously from a luxury residential tower in New York City Tuesday after the wrath brought by Hurricane Sandy, a career crane operator warns that the situation is dangerous.
Tom Barth spoke with HuffPost Live Tuesday, discussing the possible human errors, not mechanical, that could have led to the collapse.

Barth also says the entire crane could collapse at any time.
President Gary Barnett of Extell Development, the developer behind One57, said construction officials were waiting until winds receded before removing the crane from the building.
