Does age matter?

A new survey of over 4000 active members SugarDaddyForMe.com revealed that over half of the women in the U.S. were comfortable dating men 30-plus years older than them.

The site's members include younger women (sugar babies) seeking older men (sugar daddies), with an arrangement that sometimes comes with love and companionship. More often, it's assumed there's a price tag of sex and money for both parties.

In a world where Hollywood has embraced Cougar relationships, it's interesting to note that 7 percent of the women surveyed would date a man who was a full 60 years older than them. Other statistics include 27 percent said they would date a man 40 years older and 13 percent would date a man 50 years older.

In a press release, SugarDaddieForMe said,

"Attitudes about dating older men and the social acceptability are rapidly changing." Almost every woman, a full 85 percent of those surveyed said they were comfortable dating men with a 20-year age gap and 41 percent of women said they would marry a man 30 years older."

According to the survey, the top five states where women were happy dating men 30 years and older were:

1.Oregon
2.Hawaii
3.Delaware
4.Maine
5.Montana

Have you ever dated someone 20 years older or more? Your comments are welcome.
