It is a week after "Style Week" and the internet is buzzing, tongues are wagging and Saint International is Trending! On Sunday May 27, 2017, the Streets of New Kingston came to life as the highly anticipated Fashion event was in full swing for the Style Week finale event known as "Fashion Block"; where the world's longest runway is placed in the center of Kingston's busiest street Knutsford Boulevard. Fashion Block is the tip of the iceberg as this year the Saint International team came to win! This year the event had no short comings as the main goal was to promote Kingston as an ideal Tourist destination and Fashion events were held at various locations across the city.

The week-long Fashion Event series commenced at the Campari HQ with an event themed "Posh in Black", which also doubled as a Blast-off for this year's Style Week Ambassadors. Here, we saw 3 designers presenting their collections which were , Janseen Graham, Rico Vassell and Heather Laine. On Thursday we took a break as it was also Kingston's highly anticipated Foodie Event, The Jamaica Observer Food Awards and focused on the Business of Fashion. This event was geared towards students and those who hope to make Fashion a Business. PIN IT

Friday Night we went "fauncy" and took things to the French Embassy and was hosted by the Jamaican Ambassador to France Mr. Jean-Michel Despax and his lovely wife Line. French Elan' was the name of the event and it was a bit of a paradox-- Imagine, a rugged and well used runway placed over the glistening pool surrounded by well manicured lawn. The reason behind this was really simple, according to Saint International CEO Dweight Peters " It was deliberate , I wanted to show the ruggedness of Kingston and also it's beauty". Here we were introduced to the young Designer,Donald "Rednarim" Mirander, who introduced his Midnight Blues Collection and also Designers Kadian Nicely and Rick Bailey.

Saturday found us on the top of the world, downtown on the Rooftop of Digicel's new home on Ocean Boulevard and this was where we witnessed the genius designs of Canadian based luxury ready to wear womens-wear Designers Kirk Pickersgill and Stephen Wong with their line Greta Constantine. Other Designers included , Rick Baileyand T&T Fashion. Style Week Jamaica 2017 was a great event that showcased Jamaica's young talented models , designers , photographers and Bloggers and the Saint International Team continue to change lives!
