Oprah's Dogs -- Springer Spaniels Sunny And Lauren -- 'Are Not So Hellish Anymore,' She Says (VIDEO)

WATCH: Are Oprah's Dogs Still 'Little Hellions'?

For her 56th birthday in 2010, Oprah decided to get herself a little present -- two little presents, in fact. Sunny and Lauren were 14-week-old springer spaniels Oprah adopted from PAWS Chicago, a local no-kill shelter. Both dogs were introduced to the world on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" that year, charming audiences with their floppy ears and sweet faces.

"They could have been euthanized if they weren't adopted. Can you believe that?" Oprah said to her audience in 2010. "Now they're going to go home with me."

Sunny and Lauren also had a little brother. "I wanted to take three, but Stedman said, 'You are not bringing three new puppies home,'" said Oprah. The male puppy was instead adopted by a woman named Nancy. A first-time puppy owner, Nancy fell in love instantly and was thrilled to welcome a new four-legged boy into her family.

So, how are all three dogs doing today?

In this clip from "Oprah: Where Are They Now?", Nancy -- who named her pup Percy -- says he fit right in and is still doing well in her home. As for Sunny and Lauren, Oprah says the two have certainly grown up. "Sunny and Lauren -- my little hellions, as I call them -- aren't so hellish anymore," she says. "They're really doing great, and still have their noses into everything!"

"Oprah: Where Are They Now?" airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on OWN.
