Oral Roberts Buzzer Beater: Damen Bell-Holter Sinks Game-Winner To Beat Arkansas Little-Rock (VIDEO)

Is It March Yet? Oral Roberts Sinks Unlikeliest Buzzer Beater Of The Year

Oral Roberts is no stranger to shocking results.

In 2006, they caught the attention of the college basketball world by upsetting third ranked Kansas on the road.

But even by their standards, this was a little bit absurd.

On the heels of what we thought might be the buzzer beater of the year -- Christian Watford's three-pointer that lifted Indiana past Kentucky on Saturday -- Oral Roberts set the bar a tad higher with a long range 3-pointer, in which the announcer seemingly dismissed before it was even shot.

With the game tied at 55 and time expiring, Arkansas-Little Rock launched the ball into Oral Roberts' backcourt in an attempt to set up a Christian Laettner-esque last shot. Damen Bell-Holter of Oral Roberts intercepted the ball, and as time expired, he launched it with one arm from roughly three quarters of the court.

Count it.

Oral Roberts, the victims of a buzzer-beating three pointer earlier in the season, rushed the home team's court in excitement as the light crowd in attendance stared on in disbelief. The victory pushed the school's record to 7-3 on the season and with tough games coming up at Gonzaga and Xavier this week, the Golden Eagles will likely have to hope they didn't use up all of their magic in Little Rock.
