Oregon Llama Caught After Months On The Lam

A shaggy, unkempt vagrant is finally in police custody after months of eluding capture for months in Redmond, Ore

The vagabond is a chocolate brown, three- to five-year-old male llama and police are looking for the owner of the stray who had been spotted in central Oregon on numerous occasions, the Associated Press reported.

The animal had become a minor celebrity and picked up the nickname "Bahama the Llama," the Bend Bulletin reported.

Authorities are holding Bahama in the Sheriff's Office Large Animal Rescue Facility in Bend, according to KBND radio.
