So many people have been affected by this horrible event. Luckily, we have had amazing people and non-profits banding together to help the community cope in the aftermath.

In fact, 50,000 people showed up for the candle-light vigil in Orlando to honor the dead.

Isn't the human spirit amazing? When one of us gets knocked down, we come together to lift each other up.

The Power of Community

I reached out to a friend of mine in Orlando, just to see how he was doing.

Little did I know, he has been working with the community to help local businesses get back on their feet. You see, the businesses surrounding Pulse Nightclub were forced to shutdown operations for nine days.

This has had an enormous impact on the community.

Small business owners, supporting the local economy and many times just struggling to get by, cannot afford to have their businesses shut down like this.

Understanding this pressure and the struggles businesses faced, my friend Kevin Johnson decided to reach out and lend a hand.

His social media marketing agency, 11 interactive, is offering businesses affected by this tragedy free marketing services. He hopes this will help these businesses get back on their feet.

Spread The Word

In times like these, we must stick together.

If you know any business owners effected by the Pulse shooting, please reach out. Let them know that Kevin and his team are here to offer support.

And if you are someone that can help... Please, support your local businesses. When one of us falls, we need to pick each other up.
