'Orphan Black' Season 2 Premiere Date, Teaser Revealed

Send In The Clones!

The "Orphan Black" Season 2 premiere date has been revealed. The clones return to BBC America (and Canada's Space Channel) on Saturday, April 19. The first teaser aired during "Doctor Who's" "The Day Of The Doctor" 50th anniversary special.

The official description:

Season 2 of the series hits the ground running with Sarah (Tatiana Maslany) in a desperate race to find her missing daughter Kira (Skyler Wexler, Carrie). Her scorched earth tactics spark a war with pro-clone, Rachel (Maslany), dividing and imperiling all the clones. As Sarah discovers more about her past, mysterious newcomers appear, but can they be trusted?

“Season 1 of 'Orphan Black' delivered an action packed, edge-of-your-seat thrill ride featuring a critically-acclaimed star turn by Tatiana Maslany," Perry Simon, general manager of BBC America, said in a statement when production on Season 2 was announced. "The rabid fan base known as the 'Clone Club' is growing every day as audiences discover this unique show and gear up for an exciting second season that takes us further down the rabbit hole."

"Orphan Black" Season 2 premieres Saturday, April 19.
