The Academy Awards crash-landed in Los Angeles on Sunday night. Among the names of Oscar winners in 2013: Daniel Day-Lewis, Anne Hathaway and a coterie of other Hollywood stars.

By the night's end, "Argo" had won Best Picture, Daniel Day-Lewis won Best Actor, Ang Lee bested the rest in Best Directing and Best Supporting Actor and Actress went to Christoph Waltz and Anne Hathaway, respectively.

The Oscar broadcast included performances by Adele and Barbra Streisand, a tribute to James Bond, a "Chicago" reunion and a special take on "Les Miserables." For good measure, MacFarlane brought along Ted, the comically inappropriate stuffed bear from the movie by the same name.

Seth MacFarlane hosted the 85th Annual Academy Awards from the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. The venue was previously called the Kodak Theatre. In pre-awards interviews, MacFarlane called hosting the show "the hardset job in the world" and said he was putting in extensive time into what he said "feels like a one-off."
