Anne Hathaway continues to surprise us. After her awful wardrobe malfunction earlier this year, we expected that she would play it safe at the Oscars. But when she hit the red carpet in a pale silk gown, we were floored. The puckering at her bustline accentuated the "Les Miserables" actress' nipples, so much so that a Twitter handle (@HathawayNipples) was immediately born and garnered thousands of followers quickly.
Elsewhere at the 2013 Oscars, we saw lace and beading over nude tulle that reminded us of ice skaters. But the worst crime of all was the lack of innovation and run-of-the-mill mermaid gowns on the red carpet that had us yawning.
