Pamela Anderson To Play The Virgin Mary

In a move is bound to be lamented as typecasting, Pamela Anderson has been cast in the role of the Virgin Mary for an upcoming Canadian TV special.

The noted nudity advocate, amateur filmmaker and former "Baywatch" star will take on the role of the mother of Jesus Christ in "A Russell Peters Christmas Special," joining the noted Canuck comedian in what is sure to be a traditional and religiously respectful hour extravaganza.

Anderson has kept her showbiz career going over the past half decade, most recently co-starring in "Hollywood & Wine" with Chris Kattan, David Spade and Norm McDonald. She played Invisible Girl in the 2008 spoof "Superhero Movie," and took on the part of Skyler Dayton in the acclaimed TV series, "Stacked."
